Barzan Towers
The Barzan Towers are striking 16-meter-high watchtowers built in the late 19th century in Umm Salal Mohammed. Originally constructed to safeguard precious rainwater reserves and observe approaching ships or pearl divers, the towers hold a prominent place in Qatari military heritage.
