Tis Jinn Cemetery

Tis Jinn Cemetery (Gorestan-e Jenn-ha) in the ancient coastal village of Tis near Chabahar is an eerie burial ground featuring massive tombs carved directly into solid bedrock. Dating back over two millennia, the oversized graves led local Balochi villagers to believe that human hands could never have carved such stone tombs, concluding that the burial site belonged to a tribe of giant Jinn. Villagers report ghostly wailing and weeping echoing from the stones at night.
