Issız Cuma Graveyard
Tucked away in dense woodland near Seyvan village in the Yenice district of Çanakkale Province, Issız Cuma Graveyard is an ancient 680-year-old cemetery surrounding a historic 14th-century mosque. Named 'Issız Cuma' or Desolate Friday due to its isolated location where surrounding villagers gathered only for Friday prayers, the cemetery gained national renown across Türkiye for a chilling paranormal mystery: two headstones belonging to a grieving mother and her infant daughter that repeatedly merged together overnight despite being buried in separate graves.
