    St Bartholomew's Church & Cemetery

    ProspectAustralia1841–Present

St Bartholomew's Church and Cemetery, situated atop Pinner's Ridge in Prospect, New South Wales, is one of Western Sydney's oldest and most paranormally active historic landmarks. Consecrated in 1841 by Bishop William Grant Broughton, the church served early colonial pioneers, explorers, and local farming families. Following a devastating arson fire in 1989 that gutted the nave, the restored landmark and surrounding graveyard have become infamous for reports of floating orbs, disembodied footsteps, mysterious phantom music, and the spectral apparition of James Willis, a British settler buried on the grounds.

    St Mary's Catholic Church

    IpswichAustralia1849–present (Current church 1904)

St Mary's Catholic Church in Ipswich, Queensland, is an iconic neo-Gothic sandstone landmark and one of the largest regional parish churches in Australia. Constructed between 1900 and 1904 to replace earlier 19th-century churches on the site, the grand church is famous for its intricate stained glass, historic 1915 pipe organ, and towering spires. Widely regarded by local historians as one of the most haunted places in Ipswich, St Mary's is renowned for supernatural legends surrounding its pipe organ playing unassisted late at night and reports of spectral figures in the choir loft.
