BEHS No. 6 Botataung (St. Paul's High School)
Basic Education High School (BEHS) No. 6 Botataung, originally established in 1860 as St. Paul's English High School by the De La Salle Christian Brothers, is one of Myanmar's oldest and most renowned educational institutions. Housed in a magnificent red-brick Victorian complex featuring lofty arched cloisters and clock towers in downtown Yangon, the historic school has educated generation of Myanmar's leaders. Behind its academic prestige lies a dark history of World War II military occupation, air raid civilian casualties, and enduring campus ghost lore.
