Kuskovo Estate
Kuskovo Estate in eastern Moscow is a magnificent 18th-century summer residence built for Count Pyotr Sheremetev. Renowned as the 'Versailles of Moscow', the estate features a grand wooden palace, formal French gardens, and unusual architectural grottos. Beneath its refined theatrical splendor lies a darker legacy of serf labor, drowned performers, and reports of a ghostly lady in white wandering the Grotto sea pavilion.
