Arad Fort
Arad Fort is a majestic 15th-century Islamic sea fortress located on Muharraq Island in Bahrain. Built to guard maritime passages between Muharraq and the main island, its cylindrical towers and thick coral brick walls survived intense medieval sieges and Portuguese invasions. Local residents and night visitors frequently tell stories of phantom guards patrolling the battlements, eerie whispers near the moat, and sudden cold drafts inside subterranean chambers.
