    Royal Bull's Head Inn

    DraytonAustralia1847 / 1859–present

The Royal Bull's Head Inn in Drayton, near Toowoomba, is widely acknowledged as one of Queensland's most historically significant and paranormally active buildings. Constructed in 1847 by ex-convict William Horton and expanded in 1859, this beautifully preserved mid-19th-century timber inn served as a vital staging post for squatters, teamsters, and travelers heading onto the Darling Downs. Acquired by the National Trust in 1973, the inn is reputed to be haunted by at least eight distinct spirits, including long-serving postmistress Frances Lynch, deceased travellers, and former occupants whose belongings remain inside.
