Rupite Baba Vanga Sanctuary
Rupite is a mystical, volcanic valley located at the foot of the extinct Kozhuh Volcano in southwestern Bulgaria, famous worldwide as the final sanctuary of the legendary blind clairvoyant Baba Vanga (Vangeliya Gushterova, 1911–1996). Vanga selected this thermal spring oasis because she considered it a powerful cosmic energy center where the spirits of the dead spoke directly to her. Featuring her small residence, her tomb, thermal mineral pools, and the controversial Memorial Church of St. Petka of Bulgaria, Rupite draws thousands of pilgrims seeking spiritual healings and paranormal encounters.
