    Hotel Cișmigiu

    BucharestRomania1912

Situated on Regina Elisabeta Boulevard in central Bucharest near Cișmigiu Gardens, Hotel Cișmigiu is a famous Art Nouveau architectural landmark built in 1912. Originally named Palace Hotel, the grand structure hosted diplomats, artists, and aristocracy before suffering decades of neglect during the mid-twentieth century. Reopened in 1990 as a student dormitory for the National University of Theatre and Film, the building became the site of a horrifying tragedy when a young female student fell down a pitch-black elevator shaft and succumbed to her injuries after screaming for help unheeded for hours. Renowned as one of Bucharest's most infamous urban ghost sites, visitors and hotel staff report blood-curdling screams echoing from the restored elevator mechanism.

    Trivale Forest

    PiteștiRomaniaAncient / Modern

Covering over seven hundred hectares on the western edge of Pitești in Argeș County, Trivale Forest (Pădurea Trivale) is an ancient secular oak forest known both as a protected natural park and as one of southern Romania's most chilling paranormal sites. Steeped in macabre folklore, the forest is world-famous for the legend of the Headless Bride—a young woman whose wedding turned into a tragic bloodbath in the woods—as well as reports of satanic rituals, mysterious missing time experienced by hikers, floating glowing light balls, and ghostly apparitions wandering among century-old oak trees.
