Shamshabad Airport (Rajiv Gandhi International Airport)
Opened in 2008 to replace Begumpet Airport, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad is one of India's busiest, most technologically advanced aviation hubs. However, beneath its polished steel arches and modern glass facades lies a grim backstory. The 5,500-acre mega-project was constructed over land marked by violent land acquisition disputes and ancient local graveyards. Over the past decade and a half, commercial pilots, cargo handlers, and airport security staff have documented spine-chilling encounters, including phantom women wandering tarmac runways and spectral entities tormenting night-shift workers in administrative inquiry offices.
