Dumas Beach
Dumas Beach, located 21 kilometers southwest of Surat along the Arabian Sea in Gujarat, is famous for its striking black sand and its terrifying reputation as one of India's most haunted places. Historically used as a Hindu cremation ground, the beach is believed by locals to be infused with the ashes and restless spirits of the dead. Visitors report hearing disembodied whispers, strange nocturnal laughter, and feeling unseen forces pushing them toward the dark ocean waves.
