Tap Seac Square
Tap Seac Square (Praça do Tap Seac) is one of the largest public open plazas on the Macau Peninsula, renowned for its distinctive Portuguese pavement patterns and magnificent row of neo-classical Portuguese colonial buildings. While today it serves as a central hub for major cultural festivals, craft markets, and public events, Tap Seac Square carries a turbulent ghost reputation among long-time Macau residents. Built over former agricultural marshlands and historical burial grounds, the square became plagued by unexplainable accidents, equipment failures, and terrifying nocturnal apparitions during its major urban redevelopment project in the post-war era.
