    Gran Hotel Viena is a massive, eerie abandon resort complex constructed between 1940 and 1945 on the shores of Mar Chiquita (Mar de Ansenuza) in Miramar, Córdoba. Built by German-Argentine industrialist Máximo Pahlke with extravagant luxury, thermal spa installations, and self-sufficient power generators, the complex mysteriously closed shortly after World War II and was partially submerged by rising salt lake waters in the 1970s and 1980s. Celebrated as Argentina's most active haunt, it attracts paranormal investigators worldwide due to frequent shadow figure sightings, disembodied footsteps, and legendary ties to post-war Nazi fugitives.
