Hofburg Palace
Located in the heart of Vienna, the Hofburg Palace served as the formidable winter residence of the Habsburg dynasty for over six centuries. Spanning over 59 acres with 18 wings and 2,600 rooms, this sprawling imperial complex is steeped in imperial tragedy, political intrigue, and supernatural lore. Most famous among its spectral inhabitants is the 'White Lady' (Weiße Frau), an omen ghost whose appearance historically heralded the imminent death of a member of the Habsburg royal house.
