    Ain Umm Sujoor is an ancient sacred spring and archaeological complex located in the coastal village of Diraz. Dating back to the 3rd millennium BC during the height of the Dilmun civilization, this subterranean freshwater sanctuary featured limestone altars and sculpted stone rams dedicated to water worship. Local villagers and dark tourism visitors speak of water spirits that guard the dry stone wells, disembodied weeping voices, and mysterious nocturnal illuminations.
