Lida Castle
Lida Castle is a formidable 14th-century brick and boulder fortress located in the heart of Lida city, western Belarus. Commissioned by Grand Duke Gediminas in 1323 to defend against Crusader raids, Lida Castle is one of the oldest surviving castles in the nation. It is famed for ghost legends of Teutonic Knights trapped within its walls and the restless spirit of Prince Dmitry Korybut's abandoned garrison.
