Mir Castle Complex
Mir Castle Complex is an iconic 16th-century fortification located in Korelichi District, western Belarus. Celebrated as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the castle blends Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architectural styles across five red-brick towers. Mir Castle is equally famous for its haunting legends: the White Maiden (Sophia Svyatopolk-Mirskaya), a cursed artificial lake, and spectral medieval warriors whose bones lie buried beneath its foundations.
