Musachevo Haunted House
The Musachevo Haunted House, located in a quiet village just 20 kilometers east of Sofia, is widely cited as Bulgaria's most infamous haunted residence. Built in the late 1970s upon what local lore claims to be an ancient Turkish burial ground, the two-storey unfinished house was plagued by tragic deaths and sudden illnesses among successive owners. Abandoned for over three decades, the deteriorating brick shell remains completely unsold despite extremely low market prices, surrounded by terrifying stories of disembodied shrieks, phantom apparitions, and mysterious deaths.
