    Bohnice Cemetery

    PragueCzechia1909

Tucked away in a quiet forest on the northern outskirts of Prague, Bohnice Cemetery served as the official burial ground for the nearby Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital from 1909 to 1963. Known locally as the Cemetery of the Insane, this overgrown, ivy-draped sanctuary holds the remains of over four thousand psychiatric patients, criminal offenders, and tragic historical figures.
