Nawi Island
Nawi Island is a small, picturesque island lying quietly in Savusavu Harbour off Vanua Levu. Beyond its lush foliage and modern marina lies a storied history as an ancestral burial ground containing the tomb of a 19th-century Samoan princess, Aheamauga Maloka, alongside historical graves of Pacific indentured labourers. Local residents and developers have long reported ghost sightings, mysterious beach torches, and unexplainable mechanical delays.
