Two Lovers Point (Puntan Dos Amantes)

    TamuningGuamPre-colonial / Spanish Era

Two Lovers Point (Puntan Dos Amantes) is Guam's most famous geographical landmark and legendary haunted site. Rising 378 feet vertically above the turquoise waters of Tumon Bay, this limestone cliff was the site of a tragic pre-colonial CHamoru romance. Legend tells of two lovers who, forbidden from marrying by Spanish authorities and village elders, tied their long black hair together in a single knot and leapt into the abyss. Today, visitors and park groundskeepers report spectral figures standing at the cliff edge at sunset, phantom whispering along the observation deck, and mysterious gusts of wind on windless nights.
