Takht-e Soleyman
Takht-e Soleyman (The Throne of Solomon) is an ancient UNESCO World Heritage site and sacred Sasanian fire temple complex centered around a mysterious, bottomless thermal lake in West Azerbaijan. Local tradition holds that King Solomon used supernatural Jinn to build the stone fortress and imprisoned rebellious demons inside the nearby hollow mountain peak known as Zendan-e Soleyman (Prison of Solomon). Visitors report eerie acoustic echoes and phantom apparitions around the lake and crater.
