Castello di Bardi
Castello di Bardi (Landi Castle) is an imposing medieval fortress perched dramatically atop a red jasper rock spur in the Ceno Valley near Parma. Famous for its 400-year reign under the noble Landi family, Bardi Castle is world-renowned in paranormal research as the site of the world's first thermal-camera photograph of a ghost. The fortress is haunted by Moroello, a 15th-century knight who committed suicide following a tragic misunderstanding with his lover Soleste.
