Castello della Rotta
Castello della Rotta (The Castle of Rotta) is a desolate 12th-century brick fortress located in the rural flatlands near Moncalieri, outside Turin. Widely acknowledged by Italian paranormal researchers as 'The Most Haunted Castle in Italy,' the site has a dark history connected to the Knights Templar, bloody medieval battles, tragic suicides, and executions. It is famous for a multitude of recurring apparitions, including a phantom Templar knight on horseback, a weeping maiden in white, and a spectral monk.
