    Kiyotaki Tunnel is an infamous single-lane mountain passage constructed in 1927 in Kyoto's Ukyo Ward. Originally built as a dedicated railway tunnel for the Atago Mountain Electric Railway, the narrow structure has become legendary across Japan as a major supernatural hotspot. Bound by tales of tragic construction fatalities, ghost sightings, disorienting traffic signals, and dark urban folklore, Kiyotaki Tunnel is widely considered one of the most haunted transit corridors in the Kansai region.
