Oloolua Forest
Oloolua Forest is an urban tropical forest located in the Karen suburb of Nairobi. Covering over 250 hectares along the Mbagathi River, the nature reserve features a 33-meter natural limestone cave system that served as a hideout for Mau Mau freedom fighters during Kenya's struggle for independence. Deep within the thick canopy, natural waterfalls, and dark subterranean caverns, local lore speaks of ancestral warrior spirits, phantom chants, and glowing lights.
