Bourscheid Castle
Perched on a dramatic rocky peak 150 meters above the River Sûre in northeastern Luxembourg, Bourscheid Castle is the country's largest castle complex by surface area. Originating in the tenth century and expanded with eleven watchtowers, this imposing fortress offers breathtaking views across the Ardennes loops. Rich in local folklore, the castle is associated with tales of weeping specters, cursed treasure vaults, and phantom watchmen guarding its outer ramparts.
