Larochette Castle
Larochette Castle stands on a high sandstone promontory high above the White Ernz valley in central Luxembourg. Dating back to the eleventh century, the imposing fortress was devastated by a catastrophic fire in 1565 and remained ruined for centuries. Local tradition connects the site to the tragic legend of the White Lady and a cursed knight who fell into a deep well after a dark pact, leading to persistent ghost sightings among the ancient stone towers.
