Amber Court Villa D'Genting Resort is a twin 23-storey apartment complex situated in the fog-bound heights of Genting Highlands, Pahang. Constructed during the mid-1990s boom, the complex suffered severe financial setbacks following the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis, leaving large portions of its commercial podiums unfinished and under-maintained. Heavy mountain mist, damp humidity, and red algae growth gave the exterior walls a blood-stained, weathered appearance, making Amber Court famous across Southeast Asia as a dark-tourism icon, viral paranormal location, and filming site for horror movies.
