Highland Towers

Highland Towers in Ulu Klang, Selangor, is the site of one of Malaysia's most tragic structural disasters. On 11 December 1993, following ten consecutive days of monsoon rainfall, a massive landslide caused 12-storey Block 1 to collapse completely, killing 48 residents. The surviving Blocks 2 and 3 were permanently evacuated and abandoned. Over the following decades, the derelict concrete shells became Peninsular Malaysia's most notorious urban exploration site, burdened by haunting urban legends, phantom cries, criminal activity, and persistent reports of spectral encounters.
