Dar Khalifa
Dar Khalifa, also known as The Caliph's House, is an enchanting walled estate located in the coastal Ain Diab district of Casablanca. Built in the early twentieth century for a local ruler, the sprawling residence became world-famous through author Tahir Shah's book documenting his family's move into the estate and their long efforts to exorcise and live alongside its resident Jinn. Features such as secret hidden rooms, ancient zellij tiling, and lush courtyard gardens are coupled with stories of shadowy guardians, mysterious knockings, and traditional exorcism rituals.
