    Located within the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex in Pasay, Metro Manila, the Manila Film Center is notorious as the site of one of the worst construction tragedies in Philippine history. Built in 1981 under First Lady Imelda Marcos to host the 1st Manila International Film Festival, a scaffolding collapse buried dozens of construction workers in quick-drying wet cement. Reports that bodies were covered up to meet tight deadlines have fueled decades of urban legends and haunting accounts.
