Bromierzyk Village
Deep within the dense wilderness of Kampinos National Park lies Bromierzyk, an abandoned village chillingly known across Poland as the Hangman's Village (Wieś Wisielców). Tracing its origins back to the nineteenth century, the settlement suffered horrific atrocities during World War II at the hands of Nazi forces, followed by forced relocation during national park expansion. Today, only stone cellar ruins, overgrown wells, and a solitary wayside chapel remain, shrouded in spine-chilling tales of phantom executions, spectral riders, and aggressive poltergeist activity.
