Old Changi Hospital
Old Changi Hospital is widely considered Singapore's most notoriously haunted location. Originally built in 1935 by the British Royal Air Force to support military personnel in eastern Singapore, the hospital was seized during World War II by invading Imperial Japanese Forces. Converted into a high-security military medical facility and detention complex under the feared Kempeitai military police, the site witnessed atrocious torture, summary executions, and inhumane medical experiments. Abandoned in 1997 when healthcare operations relocated to Simei, the decaying art-deco complex now stands as a ominous monument of suffering, renowned for disembodied screams, shadow apparitions, bloodstained concrete slabs, and intense paranormal phenomena.
