Spiš Castle
Spanning over four hectares, Spiš Castle is one of the largest castle complexes in Central Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Rising above limestone hills in eastern Slovakia, this massive ruin is steeped in tragic legends, including the sorrowful ghost of Hedviga, a young noblewoman whose grief led to her fatal jump from the fortress walls.
