The Hospital del Tórax in Terrassa, Catalonia, is one of Spain's most famous and dark paranormal locations. Opened in 1952 as a massive national sanatorium for respiratory diseases, it held the highest suicide rate of any medical facility in the country for decades. Infamous for stories of patients throwing themselves from ninth-floor balconies, shadowy specters, and intense paranormal activity, it served as a filming location for horror cinema before its redevelopment into Parc Audiovisual de Catalunya.
