St. Andrew's Hotel
St. Andrew's Hotel is a grand Tudor-style colonial mansion built in 1875 in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka's 'Little England.' Originally constructed as a private residence for a Scottish tea planter, it was later converted into an exclusive hill-station hotel. Nestled amid mist-shrouded mountain slopes, the historic property is famous for ghost stories involving a spectral British lady, disembodied piano music in the billiard room, and flickering hearth fires.
