Sarasin Bridge
Sarasin Bridge is a famous historical structure connecting the northern tip of Phuket Island to mainland Phang Nga Province across the Pak Phra Strait. Constructed in 1967, it became world-famous following the tragic double suicide of star-crossed lovers Dam and Kanyanee in February 1973. Today converted into a pedestrian promenade, the bridge is steeped in ghostly lore of phantom lovers and white rabbits with glowing eyes.
