Yusuf Ziya Pasha Mansion (Perili Köşk)
Standing directly under the soaring arches of the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge in Rumelihisarı along the Bosphorus, the Yusuf Ziya Pasha Mansion—famously known as Perili Köşk (Haunted Mansion)—is one of Istanbul's most striking architectural icons. Left half-built for nearly nine decades due to financial ruin and war, this ten-story red-brick castle spawned decades of ghost stories involving Pasha's young wife, phantom workers, and night sightings before its eventual modern restoration into Borusan Contemporary art museum.
