Zolochiv Castle
Zolochiv Castle is a seventeenth-century residence and fortress built by the Sobieski noble family in western Ukraine. Famous for its unique Chinese Palace and mysterious Templar stones carved with unreadable Gothic scripts, the complex bears a heavy dark history. Converted into a brutal NKVD political prison during the twentieth century, its courtyard witnessed mass executions whose victims' spirits still haunt the stone vaults.
