Beard and Lady Inn
The Beard and Lady Inn, originally constructed in 1887 as The Chester Inn, is a historic two-story brick landmark located along the railway line in Chester, Arkansas. Renowned for surviving multiple catastrophic town fires and floods that wiped out surrounding timber-era structures, the inn operates today as a restored boutique hotel and apothecary. Behind its charming historic exterior lies a long record of ghost sightings, including the phantom footsteps of a guest who froze on a balcony and two spectral brothel women seen waving from upper floor windows.
