Constructed in 1884 to span Hickory Creek, Old Alton Bridge — known locally as Goatman's Bridge — is a historic iron-truss bridge near Denton, Texas. Long closed to vehicular traffic, the secluded structure is world-famous for the terrifying urban legend of the 'Goatman', a vengeful half-man, half-goat demon associated with dark rituals, demonic apparitions, and intense paranormal encounters.
