    Willard Library

    EvansvilleUnited States1885

Willard Library, opened in 1885 in Evansville, Indiana, is the state's oldest public library building. Housed in a striking Gothic Revival structure, the library is internationally famous for the 'Grey Lady'—a lingering phantom seen and photographed by staff, library patrons, and police officers since the late 1930s. The library maintains live 24/7 webcams ('GhostCams') that draw millions of online viewers searching for paranormal activity.
