Stone Lion Inn
The Stone Lion Inn, located in the historic territorial capital of Guthrie, Oklahoma, is a grand 8,000-square-foot Greek Revival mansion constructed in 1907 by wealthy lumber magnate F.E. Houghton. Originally built as a private family residence during Oklahoma's statehood boom, the mansion later served as a funeral home for several decades before being restored as Oklahoma's premier bed and breakfast and interactive murder mystery dinner venue. The inn is famous nationwide for its active paranormal reputation, centering on the ghost of a eight-year-old girl named Irene along with former funeral home spirits.
