Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois, is world-famous as the home of 'Resurrection Mary,' America's most celebrated vanishing hitchhiker legend. Spanning nearly 400 acres along historic Archer Avenue southwest of Chicago, this Catholic cemetery has been the site of dozens of documented phantom hitchhiker sightings since the 1930s, complete with physical evidence such as scorched iron gates bearing burned handprints.
