Wheatlands Plantation
Established in 1825 by Revolutionary War veteran John Chandler, Wheatlands Plantation in Sevierville, Tennessee, is widely regarded as one of the most haunted historic properties in the Great Smoky Mountains region. The plantation was the site of a Revolutionary War skirmish, Cherokee Indian clashes, and brutal Civil War skirmishes that left dozens dead on the property. With over 70 documented deaths occurring directly on the land and house, Wheatlands has earned a national reputation as a epicenter for intense paranormal activity.
