Bobby Mackey's Music World
Situated along the Licking River in Wilder, Kentucky, just south of Cincinnati, Bobby Mackey's Music World is a famous honky-tonk nightclub owned by country singer Bobby Mackey since 1978. Renowned in popular culture as 'The Gateway to Hell,' the property sits on the site of a 19th-century meatpacking slaughterhouse and blood well linked to the gruesome 1896 murder of Pearl Bryan. Later operating as a Prohibition speakeasy, mob casino, and violent nightclub, the site has compiled a dark legacy of murder, suicide, and underworld executions. Today, it is globally famous as one of the most intensely haunted and alleged demonic hotspots in the United States, drawing ghost hunters from around the world.
