    Ntumbachushi Falls is a breathtaking series of waterfalls and natural granite pools on the Ng'ona River near Kawambwa. Deeply embedded in the royal traditions of the Lunda Kingdom, the upper pools have served for centuries as the sacred cleansing site for the Mwata Kazembe paramount chiefs before their installation ceremonies. Local tradition holds that spirits of past Lunda rulers guard the waters, presenting spectral manifestations and vocal warnings to uninitiated visitors.
