    Overland Corner Hotel

    Overland CornerAustralia1859–Present

Built in 1859 near the Murray River in South Australia, the Overland Corner Hotel is one of the oldest surviving stone buildings in the Riverland region. Originally constructed to serve drovers, riverboat captains, and pioneering settlers, this isolated bush inn was frequented by legendary bushrangers including Captain Moonlight and Ned Kelly's gang. The hotel is famous for its dark history and persistent reports of ghostly activity, particularly spirits of children who tragically drowned in the adjacent river.
